Compatible with 84mm brake calipers

Brake calipers with a 84mm mounting-hole spacing can be used. With cheaper cast brake calipers, clearance issues may occur around the wheel hub area due to larger manufacturing tolerances. In that case, additional machining may be required.

A CNC-machined brake caliper is recommended, for example a suitable HEL caliper, as it is more compact in design and, based on experience, delivers an especially clean solution. When using forged wheels, any suitable brake caliper is possible without any further modifications.

Why aftermarket instead of the original brake caliper?

This quick-change system was not developed simply to reposition the brake caliper differently. The key advantage lies in its practical benefit when changing the rear wheel.

With the original brake caliper, during removal there is often the risk that a brake pad shifts or falls out. That is exactly what costs time and turns a quick tire change into an unnecessarily long screw-in operation. With a suitable aftermarket brake caliper, this risk can be reduced significantly.

Important assembly notes

For installation, threaded holes must be created in the chain adjuster. A sketch with the drilling positions is included. Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel.

When using the original Wheels / Rims, the dust shield ring behind the brake disc must be machined. In addition, a new brake line is required.
