How to Measure Your Helmet Size Correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible measuring tape.
It is important that the measuring tape runs at the widest point of the head – only then will you get an accurate result.
Place the measuring tape about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows at the front and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the measuring tape should run over the largest point at the back of the head (not too deep in the neck). The tape may run slightly diagonally – what matters is that it fits snugly around the largest circumference points of the head.
Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not cutting in. It’s best to measure 2–3 times to get the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimeters (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an Accurate Result
- Lay hair flat (e.g., do not measure with a voluminous hairstyle)
- Run the measuring tape horizontally or along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model/fit)
Important for Fit
The right helmet should fit snugly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a bit tighter at first, as the inner padding will adjust slightly over time.

The spoiler you extend yourself
At the back of the X.R5R sits a rear spoiler that you stretch by up to 20 mm without tools. The extension piece comes right in the box. With it you tune the trailing edge to your style:
- short for the low tuck behind the fairing
- long if you sit more upright, for example on a naked bike
- swap it during the break between two turns, no screwdriver needed
Try both lengths and keep the one where your head is pulled least on the straight.
Carbon you feel in your neck
The shell is made of X-PRO Carbon. On the scales it comes to approx. 1,325 g ± 50 g, measured on the M shell. Nexx builds the helmet in four shell sizes so that it stays compact on small and large heads alike. We carry it from XS to XXL.

Design: Zero Pro in Black Matt
Here the carbon is in charge. The fibre weave stays visible under a matt clear coat and shows its fine diagonal pattern up close. The large ZERO lettering on the flank is just a touch lighter than the base – depending on the light it emerges or sinks into the black. Added to that is a white Nexx logo. In the manufacturer's photo the visor and spoiler wing wear a dark smoke grey, and no element is glossy. The result is a genuine stealth look that suits any suit and any motorcycle.
Care tip: never polish or wax a matt finish, or glossy patches appear. A damp, soft cloth is enough.
