How to Measure Your Helmet Size Correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible measuring tape.
It is important that the measuring tape runs at the widest point of the head – only then will you get an accurate result.
Place the measuring tape about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows at the front and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the measuring tape should run over the largest point at the back of the head (not too deep in the neck). The tape may run slightly diagonally – what matters is that it fits snugly around the largest circumference points of the head.
Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not cutting in. It’s best to measure 2–3 times to get the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimeters (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an Accurate Result
- Lay hair flat (e.g., do not measure with a voluminous hairstyle)
- Run the measuring tape horizontally or along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model/fit)
Important for Fit
The right helmet should fit snugly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a bit tighter at first, as the inner padding will adjust slightly over time.

A trackday means five, six turns – and each one costs strength in the neck. That is why Nexx relies on an X-PRO Carbon shell at approx. 1,325 g ± 50 g in size M. Less weight above the head means less fatigue when braking and when looking into the corner. Because each of the four shell sizes is built close to the head, the helmet also stays compact in the wind.

Design: Zero Pro in Red Matt
Matt visible carbon, a large tone-on-tone ZERO on the sides and a white Nexx logo – that is the Zero Pro base. The Red version sets the warmest accent of the family. In the manufacturer's photo the mirrored visor runs from orange through red to a golden edge, and the spoiler wings catch the light in the same tones. Important: this is not an opaque racing red but a fiery metallic sheen. In the shade the helmet looks almost black, in the sun the mirrored parts ignite. Ideal with red bikes and suits with red or orange.
