How to Measure Your Helmet Size Correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible measuring tape.
It is important that the measuring tape runs at the widest point of the head – only then will you get an accurate result.
Place the measuring tape about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows at the front and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the measuring tape should run over the largest point at the back of the head (not too deep in the neck). The tape may run slightly diagonally – what matters is that it fits snugly around the largest circumference points of the head.
Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not cutting in. It’s best to measure 2–3 times to get the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimeters (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an Accurate Result
- Lay hair flat (e.g., do not measure with a voluminous hairstyle)
- Run the measuring tape horizontally or along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model/fit)

The right helmet should fit snugly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a bit tighter at first, as the inner padding will adjust slightly over time.

Four shells for the perfect fit
Instead of three, the X.R5R has four outer shells:
- one for XXS to S
- one just for M
- one just for L
- one for XL to XXL
So the best-selling sizes M and L do not share a shell. As a result the helmet sits close to the head and does not look like a mushroom. You can get it from us in XS to XXL.
360° Custom Fit
The interior consists of individual, interchangeable pads. That lets you adapt the fit to your head shape – for example tighter at the cheeks without pressure at the crown. Nexx describes the cheek pads as adaptive. The X-Mart Dry fabric is removable and washable, and glasses wearers get in without trouble.
Our tip: measure your head circumference just above the eyebrows and wear the helmet for a few minutes to try it. It should sit snugly, press nowhere and not shift when you shake your head.

Design: Zero Pro in Green Matt
As on all Zero Pro models, the carbon stays visible under matt clear coat, with grey ZERO lettering on the side and a white Nexx logo. The colour comes solely from the mirrored parts – and they are anything but monotonous. In the manufacturer's photo the visor shifts with the angle from green through turquoise to violet, while the spoiler wings look more blue-teal. So do not expect an opaque green, but an iridescent effect that changes with every head movement. A statement for everyone who likes to look a little different.
