How to Measure Your Helmet Size Correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible measuring tape.
It is important that the measuring tape runs at the widest point of the head – only then will you get an accurate result.
Place the measuring tape about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows at the front and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the measuring tape should run over the largest point at the back of the head (not too deep in the neck). The tape may run slightly diagonally – what matters is that it fits snugly around the largest circumference points of the head.
Make sure the measuring tape is snug but not cutting in. It’s best to measure 2–3 times to get the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimeters (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an Accurate Result
- Lay hair flat (e.g., do not measure with a voluminous hairstyle)
- Run the measuring tape horizontally or along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model/fit)
Important for Fit
The right helmet should fit snugly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a bit tighter at first, as the inner padding will adjust slightly over time.

More air than its predecessor
Compared with the X.R3R, Nexx has clearly stepped up the ventilation. The X.R5R works with:
- 8 intakes at the forehead, crown and chin
- 5 exhausts at the rear that draw off the warm air
- closable intakes on top and at the chin for cold mornings
- air channels directly in the cheek pads
The cheeks are the zone that sweats first in the tuck. Here it gets its own cooling.
Air Cumbs – the cooling chamber
Inside, a chamber called Air Cumbs distributes the incoming air before it leaves again at the back. That way more of the head's surface benefits from the airflow, even in slow sections in the paddock. The X-Mart Dry fabric on the pad draws moisture away from the skin. For fresh days Nexx also includes a wind deflector.

Design: Zero Pro in Blue Matt
The base is pure carbon: the weave shows openly under matt clear coat, a large tone-on-tone ZERO runs along the side, and the Nexx logo is white. The kick comes from the blue. In the manufacturer's photo the mirrored visor and spoiler wing glow in cool chrome blue – a hard, metallic contrast to the soft, light-absorbing shell. From the side the helmet looks dark and technical, from the front the blue flashes. A perfect match for blue bikes and suits with blue details.
Good to know: mirrored parts are coated. Wipe them only gently and leave polish off the matt shell entirely.
